To create your license agreements, simply click the “Add Matter” button found on the top right corner of your docket.
Select “License” in the matter type dropdown, and a blank License matter will pop up ready to be filled in and tracked.
Editing
The fields are now available to be filled in. These are filled in at your discretion and can be changed anytime.
You can list key terms or a summary, and there are distinct fields for the term of the license. You can also assign contacts and collaborators, upload documents, add timeline entries, and even relate the license agreement to the underlying IP asset being licensed.
Like all matter types, you can filter specifically for licenses by using the Type Filter.
The timeline entries you put in a license will be automatically combined with all other matter type timeline entries, unless specifically filtered out.
