The Identifier Filter could be referred to as a “Numbers” filter. This filter allows you to search by any number that is associated with a matter.
For example, you could filter by Docket Number, File Reference Number, Application Number, Patent Number and/or Proceeding Number to name a few.
The Docket Number option will search both the Docket Number field as well as the Official Docket Number field which is generated on USPTO matters based on the USPTO filing.
You can edit the filter after it has been applied by selecting Edit next to it.
To remove only this filter, select Delete next to the applied filter within this Filter box.
