Type Filter

The Type filter is used to narrow down the types of matters in your docket. If you only have one type, this filter will not be present.

For example, if you’d only like to see Patent and License matters, simply deselect all the checkboxes for other matter types, then click Apply.

Within each matter type, we have an additional matter subtype available to users. This subtype is generally things like "Standard Character Mark" or "Utility Patent". Alt Legal allows you to set your own subtype for all non-automated matters in the docket.

You can also use the Type filter to narrow your search further based on Subtypes. To do so, click the Manage Subtypes button and unselect any subtypes you do not want returned, then click Apply.
